Ag tech on display

THE BCG Ag Tech Expo was a hands-on, practical event for farmers, advisers and ag industry professionals – and North West Farmer photographer Di Martin – who were all curious about the latest tools and technologies shaping modern agriculture.

Held at Charlton, the expo brought together a range of machinery, tech and data-driven solutions, from weed control innovations and autonomous equipment to precision ag tools and safety services.

It was, as some farmers said afterwards, “a chance to see things in action, ask questions, and hear directly from the people who use and develop the technology”.

Key topics covered on the day included weed control technologies, on-farm sensors for informed decision making, getting your farm ready for automation and variable rate technology.

There were also topflight keynote speakers from CSIRO and cutting-edge industry exports.
