Winter maintenance ready to begin on irrigation channels

Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) is set to begin its winter works program after closing the irrigation season on May 15.

The annual maintenance and capital program, held during the off-season until August 14, is planned to enhance the capacity of the channel systems supplying the irrigation network.

Total expenditure for the 2023 winter works program will be about $10 million.
