Pruning all done

Spring is trying to kick into gear but the cool weather is lingering, meaning the vines are emerging quite slowly.

The forecast is for another cool spring with plenty of the wet stuff so the sprayer won’t be in the shed very much.

Another sign that things may get a bit wetter is the number of the creatures on the farm starting to get around in pairs and carrying tickets with ARK written on them. One good thing to come out of it may be the fact two rabbits that I know as Roger and Richard were both showing off their tickets.

It’s great to have the pruning out of the way. We had over 40 people on the go to complete the hand clean-up task quickly.

I’ve been visiting a couple of the wineries that we send fruit to, to keep in touch and see how last season’s fruit looks as wine, and I was pretty impressed with what I tasted.

Recently, a drone was heard buzzing passed our house and upon further investigation I noticed it was carrying a box with Acme TV written on it and it was actually delivered to a tree where two Magpies were sitting. A short time later, an aerial was spotted on the side of a Maggie nest, this is most likely for tuning into the footy finals.
